PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Member of Government of the Republic of Congo since September 2002

  • Minister of State, Minister of Economy, Industry and Public Portfolio, from August 2017 to date.
  • Minister of State, Minister of Economy, Industrial Development and Promotion of the Private Sector, April 2016 to August 2017.
  • Minister of State, Minister of Economy, Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, from August 2015 to April 2016.
  • Minister of State, Minister of Economy, Finance, Planning, Public Portfolio and Integration, from September 2012 to August 2015.
  • Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, from September 2009 to September 2012.
  • Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, from January 2005 to September 2009.

  • Trainee at the Commissariat of Atomic Energy in Paris, France (in 1985), as part of the preparation of the DESS dissertation on nuclear energy.
  • Trainee at the National Agency for the Valorization of Research (ANVAR - Ile de France) in 1984, as part of the preparation of the DEA's thesis, on biotechnology.
  • Trainee in 1983, with Jean-Jacques CARRE (Author with E. Malinvaud and P. Dubois of the famous book “la croissance française” published by Seuil in 1972.), on the development of telecommunications and their link with development in general.

UNIVERSITY STUDIES

  • Holds a doctorate in economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Paris 2 (Pantheon) in France in 1989.
  • Holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS: Baccalaureate + 5 years of higher studies) in production and distribution of energy, obtained at the University of Paris 10 (Nanterre) in France, in 1985.
  • Holds a degree in Advanced Studies (DEA: Baccalaureate + 5 years of higher studies) in economics faculty at the University of Paris 2 (Pantheon-Sorbonne), Major in development economics, in 1984.
  • Holds a Master's degree in Industrial Economics (Baccalaureate + 4 years of higher studies) in Faculty of Economics from the University of Paris 13 in France, in 1983.
  • Holds a degree in economics (Baccalaureate + 3 years of higher studies) in the Faculty of Economics from the University of Brazzaville in Congo, in 1982.
  • Holds a Baccalaureate in Economics and Management at Brazzaville Technical High School in Congo, 1979.
